What to see
The nice thing about Valencia is that it is not too far from the Costa Blanca.
As we arrive in the city we almost immediately drive past the stunningly impressive modern architecture of the “City of arts and science complex”. Here amongst the gravity defying buildings and dazzling turquoise mini lakes you will find a magnificent interactive science museum where you are actively encourage to participate in the many experiments taking place. Alongside this complex you will find “Oceanographic” The largest marine park in Europe. Which offers a huge range of exotic plants and animals. You will also find a terrific dolphin show and be able to walk amongst sharks and other marine life in the “fish tunnel”. Nearby you will also find the “fallas” museum where the best effigies from the many years of fallas festivals are displayed. Really worth a visit. Other places to see in Valencia include the lovely Royal Gardens, the lush botanic gardens, the magnificent stone built bullring, the lovely flower filled town square, the Magnificent medieval cathedral, the incredibly ornate national ceramics museum, the old beautifully tiled indoor market, the nostalgic silk exchange with its candy twist supporting towers, and the revolutionary Biopark. A “zoo immersion” experience which has virtually no barriers between humans, and animals.
We look forward to travelling with you to this beautiful and exciting city.
